Welcome to Hat Creek BBQ!
Hat Creek BBQ Sauce first came to life in the hills of northern Arkansas.
My Mama was without doubt the worst cook that ever lived. In our own defense, we 7 kids decided we had to do something . . . so each started to add a little bit of flavor to the pot each night -- and we'd go out into the backyard to do our own cookin'. After awhile, the food started to taste a whole lot better. In time, our outdoor cooking style and the ingredients we used made up the wonderful tastes of Hat Creek BBQ.
Bein' the talented one in the family, I put all that stuff together and named it Hatcreek BBQ Co. We kept it under our hats, and we lived on a creek -- get the connection?
The above story may or may not be true. What is true is that here at Hatcreek BBQ Co. we know how to grill and BBQ, what BBQ equipment and tools to use, and how to make great sauces and foods. We want to share our secrets with you! So listen up . . . y'all try out our stuff in your own yards today, hear?

About Us
I'm David, and I'm going to tell you a story about us. Leslie Ann and I met in 1966 at the tender age of 17. Leslie Ann had ventured to Fort Smith, Arkansas, from Chicago, Illinois, in search of some fine Southern BBQ and a wonderful sauce.

Before coming, Leslie Ann had heard of a magnificent athlete and came to the local high school to check him out. Being a brazen lady from the north, she marched into the principal's office and demanded that this . . . uh, famous and . . . uh, handsome fellow be brought forth for closer scrutiny.
Wellllll, these two fell madly in love at first sight and were married and lived happily ever after.
Leslie Ann says if you want to hear the real story (which is Oprah-worthy), please sign up for our monthly Hat Creek BBQ Newsletter where it will be told in its entirety.
And oh, yes, in that very same Hat Creek BBQ Newsletter, you'll also get step-by-step BBQ instructions, great new BBQ ideas including a weekend BBQ menu with recipes, our personal list of BBQ tools and equipment that we use and like . . . and a whole lotta fun.
